Equipment
All campsites come with standard
equipment as listed below. Additional equipment is available for
hire and we can tailor the supply to fit your group’s needs.
All campsites are equipped with:
- an altar fire
- a fire bucket
- an ash bin with lid
- an ash shovel
- a water boiler with lid
- a water scoop.
In addition to this, sites with large shelters
(all campsites except Cedars, Katherine Wilson and Birches) are
equipped with:
- a mop and bucket
- a broom
- a dustpan and brush
- one table
- two benches
There is also additional equipment that can be
hired for your stay. Please contact us at the time of booking for
availability of these items:
- canvas fire shelters
- wooden tables and benches
- portable gas hobs
- tents
- gas water boilers
- cooking equipment.
Green camping
We have one campsite, Cedars, which is
available for green camping. It has no camp shelter, but has
toilets and cold running water.
Winter camping
Most of our campsites are open from 1 May
until the end of September, but we keep two sites open over winter
– Katherine Wilson and Appletree. Due to the possibility of frosty
weather, we are unable to always guarantee hot water on these
campsites.
