Information for international visitors
Foxlease welcomes
visitors from the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts
(WAGGGS) to camp or stay in indoor accommodation. Please contact us to talk about your individual
requirements.
Volunteers
WAGGGS aim is to provide each girl and woman in the Movement
with a chance to learn about the world, make friends and grow
through international understanding.
Foxlease requires house
assistants to care for the house and guests. Tasks include greeting
guests, cleaning rooms, serving meals and working behind the bar.
Staff receive full board, lodgings and pocket money. If you are
interested in being a house assistant, ideally you should be
available for a minimum period of three months but shorter
periods may be considered.
Spending time at one of Girlguiding
UK’s Training and Activity Centres is a great way to:
- Make friends from all over the
world.
- Learn more about WAGGGS in the
country where it all began.
- Gain valuable resume-enhancing
experiences.
- Explore the UK.
Remember, service completed in the UK can count towards Guiding
or Scouting awards in your own country.
If you are interested, please
contact us.
